Waiting for a VM assignment is taking a LONG time

so, I’ve been building and deploying fine for the last however long. We’re going live in about 8 days and I’m finishing off the CircleCI stuff and this happens…

Build-agent version 1.0.11302-b1133b2e (2019-05-15T11:01:23+0000)
Creating a dedicated VM with default image
Waiting for a VM assignment: …

It’s been running almost 10 minutes now, and I can’t deploy my code. I’ve tried restarting the job, but nothing :frowning:

I’ve also checked and I’m way under the quota for our minutes of the week < 1/2.

Has anybody else got this issue? I’m still waiting for a deployment but I’m worried it won’t deploy and I’ll get fired :rofl:

We’ve been seeing some capacity issues from our underlying cloud provider throughout the week.

We’ve just adjusted our scaling levels to work around this - the average wait time for the default image is currently around 2 minutes.

Ahh no worries

As long as it’s not something I’m doing stupid haha!

Quick question though, do we get charged build time minutes while waiting for an image??
