Hi there, Since you’re using our 14.04 build image, Ruby 2.3.1 is preinstalled. You can specify it in circle.yml like so: machine: ruby: version: 2.3.1 That should solve the problem.

Thanks for the feedback. Two things should improve this going forwards: our ability to roll out updates to the 14.04 image is much improved compared to 12.04 so it’s easier for us to add new versions in a timely fashion we are working on some backend changes that will provide a much better option …
