You should switch to the new badge service. The old one was deprecated earlier in the year:

Today I’m very excited to announce that we have made our new orb badge service available through our developer hub platform. Previously, orb badges were done using shields.io in combination with a service written and maintained by @FelicianoTech . While this worked, it resulted in messy and long URLs, while being beholden to two separate services. ^ above is correct. The URL mentioned was my side project badge service. Since CircleCI created an official version, I have deprecated my unofficial service in favor of the official one.
