As per our deprecation notice on 30 June 2021, and email campaign to affected users, we have now removed the following images today (14 September 2021):
- Xcode 9.4.1
- Xcode 10.0.0
- Xcode 10.1.0
- Xcode 10.2.1
What does this mean for me?
Once an image is removed, the CircleCI jobs that use that image will fail with an error. You will need to update your CircleCI config to a newer Xcode version moving forward. See the CircleCI Testing on iOS documentation for the full list of available Xcode versions.
We recommend that you switch your jobs to the latest version of Xcode to minimize any impact of future deprecations.
Why are these images being removed?
As new Xcode images are being released, we need to balance the available capacity for CircleCI customers. By removing older images, we can ensure we’re able to continue releasing new images quickly and easily, including beta images.
For more information, please see our Xcode Image Policy.
