This forum is littered with “This topic was automatically closed x days after the last reply. New replies are no longer allowed.” with no answers or what to continue the topic this is infuriating

Try to search for https://discuss.circleci.com/search?q=Step%20was%20canceled impossible to find an answer since every topic opened was closed abruptly, the delay should be at least 6 months

I suspect it’s an automatic setting in Discourse, probably to prevent necroposting. There’s no harm in making a new post, linking to the old one, and pinging the original poster.
