Hi there,
I see there’s ability to rerun failed workflow jobs from_failed with CircleCI API

Is there something for Rerun failed tests - CircleCI?

Hi @unickq tnx for reaching out! At this moment we don’t provide this functionality in our API. It’s being discussed internally though.

Hi I wanted to see if this is on the roadmap for implementation? We have CI jobs that take over 5 minutes to run the entire test suite. It would be great to rerun only the failed test instead of the entire job/workflow.

We have AI agents that heavily rely on CircleCI API to check/rerun/collect test results, this will become more common for engineering team to build such agents. Please consider prioritizing this feature.

Yes we really want this feature for AI agents exposed via API/MCP.
