Hey there,

I wanted to contribute the gradle-orb repo and tried to follow readme. The first step says to create a PR to the Alpha branch with my changes. In order to do that though I need to first create a new branch with my changes, am I right? I do not have permissions to do that though. Could someone help me out here?

You need to first fork the CircleCI repo and then make the changes there on the Alpha branch by creating it on your repo. Then once you’re ready, you can submit a PR back to the CircleCI repo for review.
