Hey CircleCI community,
Based on your feedback, we’re updating the default build email notifications settings on February 25 to help reduce inbox noise and surface only the alerts that need your immediate attention.
What’s changing
Build email notifications will default to enabled for failed, cancelled, unauthorized, and errored workflows for My Work (builds you triggered). Followed project email notifications will default to disabled.
What this means for you
If you have previously customized your notification preferences, your settings will be preserved. If you haven’t, your settings will automatically reflect the new defaults as of February 25.

You can update your build email notifications preferences before February 25 and your custom settings will be honored when the change takes effect.
