Does CircleCI Slack App work in workspace within Enterprise Grid?

Hi there.

We plan to upgrade our Slack plan from the current “Business Plus” to “Enterprise Grid”.

Since the architecture of Slack changes in Enterprise Grid, we would like to confirm that the CircleCI Slack app (ID: A0F7VRE7N) will continue to work.
If anyone is using the app in a workspace within the Enterprise grid, I would like to know if it is working fine.

note: I mean CircleCI Slack app in Slack App Directory, not Slack Orb.
note: We don’t plan to use CircleCI App as Organization-wide app.

Your CircleCI app should probably work fine with the Enterprise Grid upgrade.
Slack usually keeps things working smoothly when you upgrade your plan. But to be safe, you can:

  • Test it first: Try the app in a small test group before upgrading everyone.
  • Watch for problems: Keep an eye on the app after the upgrade to make sure it’s still working.
