In the old UI I could easily stop individual jobs in a workflow. In the new UI I need to go through multiple screens to do so. A ‘Cancel’ button on the workflow screen for each job would make managing the build process easier
I agree. This is the reason why I still prefer the old UI.
Thanks all, appreciate the feedback. Where would you expect that ‘cancel’ button to live on the workflow page? Inside the box for each job? Next to it? Somewhere else?
Hi, thanks for checking.
I prefer inside the box for each job. If the cancel button exists at one of the red rectangles in the attached image, it is good for me.
The above is fine. I just need to easily find the cancel button as I can have more than 10 jobs started by one change and I sometimes need to kill them off to save resources.
The one click cancel would be ideal. I don’t really understand the difference between workflows/pipelines and jobs, and don’t want to. The old UI had a cancel option on the same line as the job. Ideally, you should be able to cancel without expanding to see the jobs. And you should have options for each job as well. For the workflow, the option could be something like “Cancel all Jobs” (we seem to have a one-to-one correspondence between jobs and workflows/pipelines, which I imagine is common.
