In the last few weeks when I use the Pipelines page it crashes the browser tab.
It tries to load the pipelines, shows the loading indicator, then the tab becomes unresponsive. When I hover over the browser tab it shows “High memory usage 2.7GB”.
I get the “Browser page unresponsive” popup window from Chrome. If I keep it running eventually it crashes the tab.
In particular it happens when I try to filter to “My pipelines”.
If it matters: We do have dynamic pipeline configuration enabled too
OS: Arch linux (Kernel 6.17)
Browser: Chrome 142 (tried with all extensions disabled too)
Tested on Firefox too, the issue does not appear on Firefox.
Hi, I am having a similar issue when trying to load individual workflow pages (eg https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/bitbucket/<org>/<repo>/<id>/workflows/<hash>) with Google Chrome 146.0.7680.80 on OSX 15.7.4. Site becomes slow/unresponsive, Activity Monitor shows memory usage spike to like 10GB and RAM spike to >500%, then the tab crashes with an “Aw, Snap” error page. On Firefox, I also get a memory/ram spike, although it eventually loads rather than crashing. Is there a solution for this?
It seems like this issue has been fixed for me. I guess it’s because a new version of the pipelines page was released? Also seems faster than before. I’m happy with it now. Thanks.
We’re having this problem in Chrome and Firefox. Turning off “Expand all” in display options is somewhat helpful, but the UI is still extremely memory-intensive and causes slowdowns / crashes in both browsers. This has been an issue for us for months now. Has there been any update or investigation on this?
