this is the error message and if you check the docs for uuid it returns just a uuid not 2 values

If that error comes from a GitHub project, perhaps it needs to be reported as a bug to them? You can file a GitHub Issue.

(Pro-tip: when pasting textual material, it is best to just submit it as text, so that it is as readable as possible.
