The Xcode 15.1 beta 2 image has been released on M1 and Gen2 Intel resource classes and can be selected as follows:

Note: This will eventually replace Xcode 15.1 as per our image policy
We will update this thread once this thread when we intend to make this change - after 15.1 is promoted to GA and any potentially breaking changes are discovered

This release additionally does not appear to ship with pre-configured simulator pairs (iPhone and Apple Watch), therefore you may need to create these pairs manually before booting them using the xcrun simctl pair WATCH_UDID IPHONE_UDID command, substituting the UDIDs found in the manifest files listed below.
