Can't select logs in new UI larger than the log window size

I’m enjoying using the new UI experience, but I’m frustrated that you can’t select logs that scroll beyond the size of the window. There is some javascript/infinite scrolling behavior that changes your selection as you scroll. Having to click view raw just to select more than a window worth of text feels like a broken design.
