# Windows Server 2022 July '23 Image Published

The July 2023 snapshot of the Windows Server 2022 image has been published. The new tag, `2023.07.1` is available immediately and `current` is updated as well.

In CircleCI config, you can specify the image directly:

```auto
machine:
  image: "windows-server-2022-gui:2023.07.1"

```

or by using the Windows orb:

```auto
orbs:
  win: circleci/windows@5.0
jobs:
  build:
    executor:
      name: win/server-2022
      version: "2023.07.1"

```

Notable software versions:  
Please note: node 20.4.0 is not available on this image as the version of nvm (1.1.9) does not allow for this.
