Track AWS Node Environments (Elastic Beanstalk + Lambda)

#1

Hi,

It’s not a make or break thing, but could you guys track your preinstalled node environments to AWS eb and lambda?
Would definitely speed things up once we start to build lots of micro functions on lambda.

Elastic Beanstalk - node.js v4.2.1
Lambda - node.js v0.10.36

Could you please give us a bit more context here? Does Lambda require node 0.10 to run? Will it not run on newer node versions? Thanks.

Yea, it only supports that specific runtime environment without a lot more work to build a custom binary.
