However, when I tried to take advantage of it, it proved impossible. Indeed:
npm ciwon’t work on default Circle images, as they don’t ship with that latest npm version.
sudo npm install npmwill install, but all subsequent calls to
npmwill fail with
Error: Cannot find module 'isarray'.
npm install npm; node_modules/.bin/npm ciwon’t work because
I am thus back to using
npm install, and will wait until Circle updates the images to the latest NPM version.

- In hope that someone has found a solution I haven’t tried.
