# Success on rebuild, but GitHub Commit Status unchanged

On [this PR](https://github.com/mathquill/mathquill/pull/652), you can see that the CI status says

> Your CircleCI tests were canceled

Which they were, and it links to the canceled Build #207.

But then afterwards, I clicked Rebuild, and it did a build on the same commit, which succeeded: [https://circleci.com/gh/mathquill/mathquill/208](https://circleci.com/gh/mathquill/mathquill/208)

Shouldn’t the GitHub Commit Status be updated to say the build later succeeded for that commit?

Also having the same issue here: [https://github.com/coralproject/talk/pull/8](https://github.com/coralproject/talk/pull/8) where it says: ci/circleci — Waiting for status to be reported

I’m getting the same here: [https://github.com/mathquill/mathquill/pull/721](https://github.com/mathquill/mathquill/pull/721)

GitHub thinks the CircleCI build is still pending, but if you click through to the CircleCI build page you can see it’s completed (successfully).
