I’m tired of adding “-o StrictHostKeyChecking=no” to the pasted urls you guys add to the “ssh” command you provide when i ask for an ssh remote connection. I’d love it if you guys gave me a link that looked more like:
ssh -p xxxx -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no firstname.lastname@example.org
It would make me REALLY happy and not see this, every other time:
The authenticity of host ‘[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]:xxxx ([xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]:xxxx)’ can’t be established.
ECDSA key fingerprint is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added ‘[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]:xxxx’ (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.
Permission denied (publickey).
I mean… is the security on a debug machine REALLY that important? I’d love to hear your input.
