Circle doesn’t have a build matrix at this time, it’s on the [feature request list](https://discuss.circleci.com/t/build-matrix/584). (feel free to ❤ it to show support)

> I’ve created a small utility, circleci-matrix, that might help you with your problem: [https://github.com/michaelcontento/circleci-matrix](https://github.com/michaelcontento/circleci-matrix) It allows you to define a build matrix similar to the way used by TravisCI. Parallelism is also supported out of the box (if enabled in the project settings).

Would this help you out in the meanwhile?
