Insights vs workflows



Looks to me Insights are not workflow-aware. For example “build time” seems to refer only to the step named “build” in the workflow?
That’s kinda useful, but:

  1. Total workflow time is important, too
  2. Being able to break down into specific workflow steps would really tell you where the slowdown could be happening

I don’t understand the “Queue time” - what is it referring to? For me it seems to be showing the time the proceeding workflow jobs took? If that’s the case - that’s not very useful.

Insights are not very useful right now.


I can only agree. Insights are a great direction but there is quite a bit of room for improvements. Would love to see some here.
