Hi @maven

I understand you are having troubles with utilizing DLC for your builds when using our aws-ecr Orb.

I believe you are likely seeing the [same issue reported on our Orb here](https://github.com/CircleCI-Public/aws-ecr-orb/issues/202).
In short, the latest aws-ecr Orb uses Docker Buildx, and is not leveraging the cached layers from DLC on CircleCI.
I have shared [possible next steps here](https://github.com/CircleCI-Public/aws-ecr-orb/issues/202#issuecomment-1228014922).

If you are looking for how to use caches when building with Docker Buildx, you may also like to refer to [this Discuss post answer](https://discuss.circleci.com/t/does-docker-layer-caching-support-buildx/41401/3) 🙇‍♂️

Hope this helps!
