Disable Xdebug on PHP image

php

I want to disable Xdebug on the PHP image but I can’t get it to work. I’m pretty sure I need to do it on the PHP image but I’m unsure how I can manipulate it through the config to disable Xdebug.

This is my base config:

version: 2
jobs:
  build:
    working_directory: /var/www/ci.promoter/current
    docker:
      - image: php:7.1.1
      - image: mysql:5.7.16
        environment:
          MYSQL_DATABASE: testdb
          MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD: password
        command:
          mysqld --sql-mode=IGNORE_SPACE,NO_ZERO_IN_DATE,NO_ZERO_DATE,ERROR_FOR_DIVISION_BY_ZERO,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION

If you’re using on of our PHP images, more info about them here: https://circleci.com/docs/2.0/circleci-images/#php

As you can see, we pre-install Xdebug in our images:

If you don’t want it, I think it’s best to find an image which doesn’t install it, or roll your own image. More about custom images here: https://circleci.com/docs/2.0/custom-images/

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
