# Checkout step from Github hanging - The authenticity of host 'github.com (192.30.253.113)' can't be established

This is happening with all our builds right now. Tried to set `StrictHostKeyChecking no` on a run previous step from `checkout`. Didn’t fix it.

Help appreciated.

I seem to recall this [has come up here several times before](https://discuss.circleci.com/search?q=authenticity). Have a look at previous reports of this to see if any fixes were reported?
